A growing administrative staff, the need for a board room, and the desire to expand their dining room seating capacity led the Winchester Country Club to call upon Harrison Mulhern Architects to plan a renovation.  After carefully documenting the existing conditions on multiple floor levels of the existing clubhouse, HMA designed a modest infill element and a series of new roof dormers to accommodate the program.  The existing office suite was renovated and expanded, capturing dis-used space between two buildings on two levels.  An existing private dining room was expanded on the main level, matching the fit and finish of the existing room. New dormers in multiple roof lines allowed a board room to be tucked into the existing office area along with additional private offices and workstations.  New elements were matched seamlessly to the existing exterior appearance.
